ITN

The ITN is an International Tennis Number that represents a player’s general level of play. Under this system players will be rated from ITN 1 – ITN 10.  ITN represents a high level player (holding an ATP/WTA ranking or of an equivalent playing standard) and ITN 10 is a player who is new to the game.

A ‘Description of Standard’ has been developed to describe each of the ten categories. Click the following link to see the descriptions on the ITF wesbite - ITN Description of Standard

More information can be found on the ITN home page by clicking the following link http://www.itftennis.com/itn/

Oncourt assessment
Coaches and players can now track a player's ongoing development and improvement online at www.oncourtassessment.com. Whether you're just starting out or a seasoned competitor, the oncourt assessment will help you pinpoint what you're excelling at and what you need to improve.

The ITN On Court Assessment clearly illustrates if you have more control of your forehand, backhand, volley or serve and will measure control, accuracy and power.

You can also compare your assessment results with averages for your age as well as the highest scores in your age category. Juniors will be able to compare themselves with the very best players in their state, country and globally for their age group.

The ITF ITN On Court Assessment is a great tool to increase participation at grass roots level and will be a motivator for players at higher playing levels.

The ITN assessment has been designed so anyone can administer the assessment whether they be a coach, club official, teacher or parent with no tennis knowledge.
