2010 Victorian Open
Entries are now open for the 2010 Victoria Open, which will be held from 22-24 October 2010 at the Bendigo Bank Tennis Complex in Bendigo.

How do I get involved in wheelchair tennis?
There are a number of ways you can get on court and play wheelchair tennis. From 'come and try' days at your local club to Grand Slams, tennis can be played anywhere by anyone.

Step 1  
Contact your local tennis club and check whether they are wheelchair accessible.

Step 2 
Contact your Member Association (e.g. Tennis Victoria) for information regarding programs, camps, tournaments and lots more.

Step 3 
Contact Wheelchair Sports Australia state/territory body (e.g. Wheelchair Sports Victoria) if you need to borrow a tennis chair.

Step 4 
Enter a Mini Circuit. View the tournament calendar 

Step 5 
Sign up for the Wheelchair Tennis e-newsletter. To subscribe, email your full name, state and email address to accessallareas@tennis.com.au.

Step 6 
Find a hitting partner.

Step 7 
Sign up for an ipin.

Step 8 
Enter tournaments.

Step 9 
Apply for Government grant assistance to help cover the cost of travelling or equipment. Contact the Australian Sports Commission or your local government for grant assistance

Step 10 
Discuss National Academy Scholarship opportunities with Tennis Australia. View the scholarship criteria
